![]() ![]() Thinking maybe the battery gage was wrong, I thought I better charge it just in case. The box still said 100% even after jumping both. The other trucks sat there with their lights on and ran their batteries dead, what are the odds? After watching a guy struggle with jumper cables with no luck, I offered my 150 box that had been sitting in my truck for two over a year! I turned it on and saw it still said 100%! It started his truck with no problems and also a second truck. It jumps little cars and even a dead semi! I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for an apt when two people also waiting in the parking lot end up needed a jump. I tested so many and decided on this 150. To sum it up, this thing is great if you have a need to use it regularly, but might be a little overkill for most people if you don't have a big truck.Ĥ of 4 people found the following review helpful. ![]() When home, the battery pack still showed 50% power in it. I used the GB150 hooked up to the car's battery under the hood to get that car home. Vehicle was 15 miles from home when the battery was drained too low to keep driving and they realized there was a problem. At work I've started standby generators from little air cooled units up to 100KW beasts.Ī while back my parent's Ford crossover had an alternator go out. Batteries weren't totally dead, but they were failing. At home it starts cars and farm tractors, and a couple of times assisted with my F450 with the 7.3L Diesel. I've used it many dozens of times, both for my work and at home. It's been over a year now, and the unit is working great. Seriously, I had it on order for weeks before they first shipped. I've owned one of these since they first came out. 13 of 13 people found the following review helpful.
